Ordered as a gift for my brother, because he keeps a huge bag of dog food in his closet, it's a pain to reach all the way down to the bottom when it starts to get low.
The only confusing part was ordering the size. It describes two sizes, but when you select a size to order, they have small, medium and large. I ordered the medium which I didn't see listed in the original description, so I don't actually know which size I got!
My brother said it held his 20 lb bag of dry food perfectly and still had room for more! He was very happy it came with it's own scoop too.

I have 3 rescue dogs.... small, medium and large. I bought the Mason Tins for their food storage in coordinating sizes (s,m,l). The tins keep their food fresh and neat. This is a great food storage "pail". I started having problems with flies getting into his bag...ugh! So I wanted to find a storage container that would keep the flies out, but still look good in my kitchen. I found it! I even put my dog's name on it...so everyone knows it's his food! :-)

Finally got sick enough of using ugly plastic containers to buy something that coordinates with our mud room. We have a medium sized dog that doesn't eat a ton, so the Large size worked well for us in terms of having enough storage to make it worth our while, but not being too big.
It's also just the right size for my two year old to be able to help feed the dog!

I have been looking for a nice looking dog food storage for a long time.This one is different from others,not plastic or clear that you can see through dog food.I couldn't decide which color to choose from but I got silver large and I really like it.It blend in our house.It might be better if it had a latch to secure close the lid.But the lid is pretty tight so I don't think dog can open.I wish the scoop come with it has a measurement line and little bigger handle.Over all this is nice and cute and I really like it.

I searched for a dog food container that was attractive in a more contemporary way and not plastic. I wasn't sure it would seal well, but I live with someone who cannot tolerate the smell of pet food and they do not notice it with this container. My dog doesn't try to get into it so I don't know how secure it is. I like it.

I love it! It looks nice and is very functional. We had a problem with outdoor rats and since we bought this tin they've given up and gone away. The only down side is I thought it was a little too expensive. If I had to buy another one, I would, but would look for something cheaper first.

If you want something beautiful and functional to store your pet food -- do not hesitate to purchase this product. Not only does it look great sitting in the corner of my mudroom next to Max's wrought-iron feeder, but it keeps his dog food fresh which is really important. I also believe it helps keep mice from coming in the house for the dog food. The lid is easy to remove with one hand, and is no problem for children. The food scoop that comes with it is substantial in weight and a perfect size for my Golden Retriever. I absolutely love how it looks when I enter my home and I am even happier with how it works!

This is my second mason tin - I have two Goldens, one who is a (very active!) senior, the seond a young puppy - the tins are perfect for separating their different food requirements. I really like that the tin holds a standard 20 lb food bag, keeps the food fresh and comes with a great scoop!

This storage tin is the best. Looks great. Holds alot. Fits in w/my decor, or any decor. I have 2 Weims and 1 Jack Russel, all on same food, and they all go over to their tin when it's time to eat! Love it!
