I bought the large container. I have it sitting on the floor in the kitchen. I do slide it around and it doesn't scratch the floor (laminate wood flooring). It is nice to have an attractive container to store dry dog food. The only other containers I could find were ugly plastic ones. The lid doesn't clamp down tightly but it does seem to seal shut and the dogs leave it alone during the day.

Having two labs means we go through lots of food. The old dispenser, plastic and not very pretty - needed to go. These two canisters fit nicely in the corner, near where our dog bowls are located. The canisters are working great...and dare I say, "almost" decorative. ;)

I really like the dog food storage container, it looks great! My concerns is, that it's bit flimsy, If you push down too hard on the lid, it bends out of shape. AND I wish the lid had a handle. (I ended up drilling holes and adding my own)

I bought two of these attractive containers. One of them is for our primary residence, and one is for our weekend getaway cabin. We wanted a heavy duty container that was attractive and not plastic-- mice can be an occasional problem at the cabin and we didn't want them to eat through the container to get to the dog food. These canisters are very clean looking, and the most fashionable storage containers for food we could find. The dogs don't try to break into them, and the scoop is a perfect size (measures about a cup of food). Love these!

This storage container is so stylish and looks great in our kitchen with stainless steel applicances! Before, we had a 35lb bag of dog food sitting in the kitchen which was always in the way, difficult to get food out towards the bottom, and just all around unattractive. This storage container now seats in one place in the kitchen where I am not ashamed of it (it looks like part of the decor) - the scoop is really nice and the entire bag of dog food fits into the can. No more folding down the bag and clipping it shut and no more getting my arm dirty!

Ordered as a gift for my brother, because he keeps a huge bag of dog food in his closet, it's a pain to reach all the way down to the bottom when it starts to get low.
The only confusing part was ordering the size. It describes two sizes, but when you select a size to order, they have small, medium and large. I ordered the medium which I didn't see listed in the original description, so I don't actually know which size I got!
My brother said it held his 20 lb bag of dry food perfectly and still had room for more! He was very happy it came with it's own scoop too.

Finally got sick enough of using ugly plastic containers to buy something that coordinates with our mud room. We have a medium sized dog that doesn't eat a ton, so the Large size worked well for us in terms of having enough storage to make it worth our while, but not being too big.

It's also just the right size for my two year old to be able to help feed the dog!

I have been looking for a nice looking dog food storage for a long time.This one is different from others,not plastic or clear that you can see through dog food.I couldn't decide which color to choose from but I got silver large and I really like it.It blend in our house.It might be better if it had a latch to secure close the lid.But the lid is pretty tight so I don't think dog can open.I wish the scoop come with it has a measurement line and little bigger handle.Over all this is nice and cute and I really like it.

I wasn't sure it would seal well, but I live with someone who cannot tolerate the smell of pet food and they do not notice it with this container. I love it! It looks nice and is very functional. We had a problem with outdoor rats and since we bought this tin they've given up and gone away. The only down side is I thought it was a little too expensive. If I had to buy another one, I would, but would look for something cheaper first.

If you want something beautiful and functional to store your pet food -- do not hesitate to purchase this product. Not only does it look great sitting in the corner of my mudroom next to Max's wrought-iron feeder, but it keeps his dog food fresh which is really important. I also believe it helps keep mice from coming in the house for the dog food. The lid is easy to remove with one hand, and is no problem for children. The food scoop that comes with it is substantial in weight and a perfect size for my Golden Retriever. I absolutely love how it looks when I enter my home and I am even happier with how it works!
