I bought a medium sized stand for my border collie for two reasons: first, so he wouldn't be hunched over when eating, and second, so that he wouldn't slop water everywhere. It definitely accomplishes the first goal, although if you have a large border collie, you'll probably want the tallest stand. The bowls are not quite as deep as I would have liked, so we still have a little bit of a water-slopping issue, but it is much better then it used to be. The stand is very sturdy and I can't imagine that he would knock it over. All-in-all, I am very pleased with this purchase.

THIS WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE EVER MADE. BOWLS FIT TIGHTLY AND DON'T CLANG AROUND WHILE DOGS ARE EATING AND DRINKING. DESIGN IS ALSO CLEAN AND ATTRACTIVE!! LOVE IT!!!

My older dog was having difficulty eating so I ordered this. It has made a huge difference as he does not have to lean over to eat. This is an attractive and "quiet" dog bowl holder. I did have to order the large size- he is a Weimaraner approx 65 lbs

We have two large dogs and have always had large dogs and thus the need for elevated feeders. Our old ones (we have had a few different ones in the past) were hard to clean and would move around as our dogs licked the bowl clean. These do not move!!! They are well designed, stay cleaner and are easy to clean, and look great! We have two of these feeders just outside our kitchen door on our deck and they have held up beautifully and we have had them a year. Very happy with this purchase and know they will last a very long time.
