I have had this product for almost 3 months now. I have been using it for my 10 week old puppy who is now 5 months old. It fit her well then and still seems to work well. The only thing I wanted to mention was that when the food is gone from the bowl and she still licks the bowl all over it clings around in the holder. I guess this can be a good thing if your dog is out of water and trying to get the last drop you would be able to hear it clinging around.
