I love the design, I just wish it was a little taller for my dog. Male Saint Bernard-recommended hight is about 16-18 inches.

My older Blue Heeler was having trouble bending down to eat so I looked for help with her problem. I ordered this metal raised feeder and was pleasantly surprised as it fits neatly in my small space, looks attractive and not bulky, and my dog had no trouble adjusting to the new height. It's perfect for my needs. My only complaint is that the food bowl moved within the base, which was fine for my dog but made a loud clanging noise when she was licking the near-empty food bowl. I put a ring of caulk around the bowl where it sits in the base so it's not metal-against-metal, and problem solved. It's a great raised bowl, and you wouldn't need to do this if you use it for water or if your dog doesn't diligently lick the bottom of the bowl like mine does.

I bought this for my golden, who is unusually tall for his breed. I have read that it helps with digestion....and since goldens are prone to stomach issues already, I wanted to avoid all potential health risks. The item is somewhat costly, but the metal stand is very nice quality and overall, it will help to prevent costly vet bills down the road!

Feeder is perfect height for my 80lb Shepherd. He has had joint problems and the feeder has made it much easier to eat. Before he ate only partial meals because it was difficult for him to lean down and separate his front legs...now he finishes his portions in one feed and has put weight back on!!

We use these two feed our two 65 lb Labs. We love them,they look great and the dogs do not have to crouch down to eat there food.

These dishes are perfect. They help the dogs eat and drink without having to bend down so far. They are super easy to clean and they look good. I needed separate dishes for two dogs who sometimes compete for food. This was the perfect accomodation.
The elevated dog bowls work excellent for my two older dogs. They are also very attractive.
The elevated bowl purchased helps my dog enjoy eating more comfortably. Selection is better than the chain stores - hands down.
