I have a 13 year old chihuahua that loves to travel with us to FL every winter from New Hampshire, by auto. This booster seat is a lifesaver. She is clipped in to a harness vest and can sleep, sit up and see out the window. I do reinforce underneath with a small rolled up blanket or cardboard box - Just for my own piece of mind. It's great!!!

This car seat is so adaptable. I use it in three automobiles and Asa loves to look out as well as nap on long trips. Glad I purchased it.

My little Shih-Tsu loves her new doggie car seat. She is not whining that she used to do, as she wanted to look outside and she was to low, so she wanted me to lift her while driving. Now she sits in the seat and looks outside. I even open the window for her when driving slow speed and she can put her face out. No danger of her falling orr jumping out as her collar is hooked to the seat !! Great and she looks so cute. Picture will follow....

Our bichon poo, Grover, loves to ride in his booster seat. It lifts him up high enough for him to see out, and he can sit in the front passenger seat next to me while I'm driving. Because the booster seat doesn't rest on the seat bottom, the passenger airbag sensor doesn't know it's there. In a crash, this would mean the airbag would not deploy, and that's a good thing. The airbag would kill a little dog, or so I've heard. My only quibble about the product is that after 2 or 3 excursions, Grover had chewed through the tether which attaches to his collar. Not thick enough, and the other nylon webbing straps also seem a bit flimsy.
