This great product is very easy to assemble, clean and store. It even looks good with just about any decor.
I believe it would work great for older small dogs or less active small dogs who would take the time to WALK up them. My dogs are still young enough that they want to RUN and JUMP up the stairs. I did not take this into account when I purchased the stairs.
For this reason only it is not working out for me. I really needed something with a much deeper tread to allow for the forward movement of the dogs as they run up the stairs. I have not come across such a set of stairs yet.

It was easy to set up. Our little dog learned quickly how to use the steps to get up and down.

Took a little training for our 8 month old but when we got a new puppy to keep him company she learned fast. The older one was afraid of it at first but got used to it and now always uses it to climb up and most of the time for down. New puppy uses it for up and down always. Saves those shoulders from jumping off the bed.

Although this item is "appropriate" for my dog's weight, it has proven to be too narrow for him to use confidently. It seems a very good choice for a small dog.
