My husband and I purchased this bag for air travel when our King Charles Cavalier was about 7 1/2 months old. He fit OK at that point with the bag, but grew out of it shortly there after. During our travels we had two flights (one layover), and each leg of the flight was about 3 hours, so our pup wasn't in the carrier for more than 4-5 hours with each leg of the flight (boarding/landing). This bag was one of the only bags he could fit in for his age/size, and we were happy with the product overall. It was easy to have at our feet, easy to carry, and had small pockets on side for treats, etc. I do wish it was a little bit longer/more roomy, but it did the job.
