I love this addition to my backseat! I especially like the zip-unzip feature. I zip it when I am not in the car to reduce temptation for Scout to jump up front. When I get back in I unzip so Scout gets the benefit of the vent for air.I also like that one can just use it on half the seat at a time. I have seen cheaper ones and they are just not near as nice.

I've been using this travel hammock for about 2 months and it works great. I had my car detailed and the back seat still looks great! No more paw prints to worry about when I have passengers in back. It is easy to install and fold up to store in the trunk. It is durable and cleans easily in the washing machine. My only complaint is that due to the way my seats are rear seat is made, the hammock does not tuck into the back seat so it moves slightly. All in all it was a great investment!

I have a Golden Retriever whose hair gets EVERYWHERE; not to mention the dirt and other stains that seem to follow her everywhere she goes. This seat cover is great!! I use the tough, waterproof side and it keeps everything from hair, dirt, wet paws, etc off of my car seat fabric. It's a very durable cover that is made well to stay in one spot and not slide all over the seat. The hammock is great as it keeps her in the back seat. The nicest part is that it unzips in the middle when someone needs to sit in the back so you don't have to take the whole cover out of the car. It cleans easy in the washer too. Best car seat cover I've owned!!!

I have an husky with severe arthritis and this hammock is wonderful because it has stopped her from falling into the seat wells and getting stuck. It also keeps things in the seat well mostly free of the ever-present fur. The only real problem that I had with this was that the nylon webbed handles all tore within the first 6 months and I had to replace them.

Basically I'm very happy. The back piece is too short though to tuck into the seat as the instructions direct. There are two pieces of plastic tube in pockets that are supposed to tuck into the space between the seat and back but the back piece would need to be 4-5 inches longer to do this. My car is a Honda Civic so it isn't a big car. I could lengthen the straps over the headrests to get the pockets low enough but that would leave the top several inches of the car seat back unprotected. It still works great, but would be neater if it would tuck in.

I bought this hammock because we take our dogs to the dog park every day. Needless to say the dogs love to find mud and water and romp around in it so I was looking for somethng that would save my car and this hammock was just the ticket. The hammock was easy to install and cleans up easily and nicely. Love that you can use the small openings in the hammock so you can secure your dog to the seatbelts. Great purchase!!!

This hammock is very attractive, and matches the dark gray interior of our car very well. We use it every day when we take our two young labs to the park. It keeps our seats clean, and our dogs now seem much more reluctant to try to nudge their way into the front seat. The hammock came with clear instructions and was very easy to install properly. Although we've only been using it for a few weeks, it seems very durable.
The only negative is that it's too wide for my car. (I drive a small station wagon.) I wish there was a way to make the right-left fit a little tighter. The hammock sags a bit where it falls between the two front seats. Maybe we'll have to engineer a way to fix this.
That's a minor criticism, though. We highly recommend this hammock. 4.5 stars, rounded up.

I had another blanket before this one and in comparison this one is a lot better. It seems that it will be more comfortable. Easy to use with a safety strap (seat belt.) Unless properly anchored it will be slippery on leather seats. The hammock feature adds safety for both owner and pet.

Love this. I looked all over for a back seat cover for our dog and this was the best. We took him on a long trip and this kept him safely in the back seat but gave him freedom to move. I also love the zipper which lets you take down one side since we often had another person in the back seat. If we ever had to stop short, he was safe. Great product!

Love the durability, good looks and easy wash-up of this hammock.Waterproof side great for summer. Kit includes two plastic tubes that tuck inside slots in the hammock. These are pushed into the gap where the seat and back meet. I have a 40 lb. dog. The tubes sometimes pop out, making the hammock slip around. Fixed it by making longer anchors from a wooden dowel rod. Works great now. I'd buy this cover again.

I was very excited to receive my new pet hammock and it did not disappoint. My dog's hair still manages to get everywhere, but in lesser amounts! My sister has a much more expensive hammock from a competitor and she noted that she really liked how mine had velcro tabs that hold the hammock in place around the seat belts.
The box for the hammock did arrive looking a bit sad and the free water bottle advertised on the side of the box was nowhere to be found. I have plenty of water bottles, though, so this wasn't really a big deal. All in all, would definitely recommend this product.

The pet travel hammock was exactly what I was looking for. I have a 80 lb flat coated retreiver who does not like to sit still during car rides. He is very interested in all there is to see whether it is in the back seat or in the front with the driver. Therefore we needed something that would keep him safely in the back seat and protect my leather interior.
Only one probelm, I have not gotten the adjustments quite right. Also it was difficult at first because I have an Acura 4 door car that does not have rear adjustable head rests so there was no place for me to clip the straps in. I had to go to a sporting goods store and purchase 2 "carabiners" (that mountain climbers) use to clip the straps to the child seat hooks on the back dash of the car.
Overall I have been happy with the purchase.

I'm a pet-sitter, so I'm always taking dogs to the beach in my SUV. Previously, my seats and floors were covered with sand and dog hair (my seats looked like mohair, lol). This hammock is an attractive design, and keeps the entire back seat area clean. It's easy to hook up, and easy to remove (I just leave it on all the time). I prefer this design versus back seat covers or throws. I like that the fabric is good quality, versus other brands that are made of fabrics that seemed too hot for beach weather (like heavy fleece). I did a lengthy search of other brands, sites, and styles before settling on this one. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I was very pleased with this hammock from the very beginning. I could tell it was well made and sturdy. I love the fleece side up for trips taken this cold winter. I will flip it over this summer. It stays in place with the adjustable straps. The seatbelt adapter keeps it snug on the sides. I should have bought a second one for my husband's car!

We are pleased with the product, however we called and asked to have it shipped in the color slate instead of sand and we were still shipped the product in sand. We decided to keep it because we didn't want the hastle of repackaging and shipping it back. The slate color would have matched the interior of our new vehicle better but oh well! As our labrador retriever Teddy sheds a couple of times a year, the DG DLX Pet Travel Hammock does a phenomenol job of containing dog hair to the hammock itself and prevents its spread to the rest of the car. Also, with an active, all-weather dog, we no longer have to worry about a wet dog with muddy paws in the car. The hammock is stain resistant, water repellent and very simple to put in and take out of the car. Its machine washable, so easy to keep clean. An added bonus is that it provides protection for your dog; if I brake suddenly, the hammock keeps Teddy from falling down into the area behind the front seats. Safe, secure, easy to clean and I spend a fraction of the time I used to keeping the car clean. It doesn't get any better than this. In fact, I bought a back-up just in case this one wears out some day and they stop making them!

This most recent purchase is my second from you, but this one is MUCH less thick/heavy/durable than last...seems like manufacturing company went a little on the cheaper and lighter side...but it works, and I gave the previous one to one of my best friends for her dogs.She even mentioned, feeling them both, that she got the heavier, stronger edition...I think that is the case...

I recently bought my first new car. I have a Yellow lab who loves to go the country for wild dog runs and pond swimming. My old car didn't care how dirty the dog got but the new car is much more fussy. My friends thought I was crazy to let my dog in this car. The DG DLX Pet Travel Hammock has worked absolutely perfectly. It is made of a material that is easy to wipe off and pet hair does not stick to it. It completely covers the back seats and floor keeping all the dirt and hair confined. It fits the seat excellently and has zippers and velcro slits to feed the seat belts through. The hammock can be released from the front seat head rests to become a standard seat cover for passengers. The zipper feature in the middle of the hammock also allows a passenger and my dog to ride together with half of the hammock still in place.

I've had other pet "hammocks" but this is the nicest one. The straps that go around the headrests are really easy to adjust and secure. For a quick clean, I just hang it on a rail and hose it off; for a more thorough cleaning, I just throw it in the washing machine.

Excellent product - easy to set up and use during a trip. We have a small dog and he was able to get in and out of the vehicle with the hammock in place. The hammock comes with a water bottle and pocket to put it in as well as another pocket for food/treats as well as a hook to attach a leash. It's easy to clean and you just just brush out any loose dirt or sand.We can't say enough good things about this product.

We've used a fabric Pet traveler before and the dogs hair stuck to it and even vacuuming wouldn't get rid of it. Too much hair on it to wash the product. This is the greatest, cleans very easy and is so easy to install and remove.
