I bought something similar to this years before that was really hard to use. I ended up giving it away. This is so easy--you just loop it around the headrests and go! It pretty much handles all the hair that would normally end up in your back seat.

I leave this installed in my back seat to protect against pet damage, grocery spills, outdoor gear that I don't want on my seats, etc. Great versatile product that does more than just protect against your pet. Product also does a reasonably good job of keeping my dog in the back seat when I leave her in the vehicle unattended for a couple of minutes. My only complaint is that it is not wide enough to cover both edges of the seat by about 2 inches on each side (I own a crew cab Ford F250).

This is super easy to use. My Cadillac CTS has back seats that are not wide enough for my poochie. They are leather, so he slides when I go around corners. He has slipped right off the seat before! I worry that he'll get hurt. He also stands with his back feet on the back seat and his front feet on the center console so he can be closer to me, but he obstructs my view that way. This cover solves EVERY problem. It's easy to set up. It's easy to take down. It keeps your seats clean. It's washable. It folds down small. It keeps you and you dog safer by keeping them in the back and giving them a non-slip surface, but it doesn't obstruct their view. My doggie likes it!

I previously had a seat cover that never stayed in place so all dog drool, hair, and muddy paws were always getting on the seat. Switching to this hammock has made a big difference(for the better) in the amount of dogness that ends up on my back seat. My dogs appreciate not falling off the seat and onto the floor if I have to make a quick stop or turn. The main problem I have with it is that I have a 2 door car and it is hard to undo the strap around the front head rest with 1 or more dogs standing on the hammock waiting to get out. It would be nice if the straps had a clasp that could easily be undone to easily remove dogs from a compact car. Also, some dogs are still able to hop over into the front seat if they really want to especially if the straps attached to the front seat are not tightened fully. Overall, I enjoy this product and would recommend it for all doggy travelers.

This is a great seat cover for my Honda Accord. It is easy to install and very adjustable. I didn't realize it needed a rear headrest to hook around but I was able to fold down my seat back and use the holes in the trunk framing. This works fine. I also like this cover because it keeps the dogs from going to the floor or entering the front seat area.

When I read the description, I didn't think the pockets would be all that useful. I was wrong. They are one of the best features that sets this apart from other hammock seat covers. Now I always know where Gracie's (Basset Hound) leash, pick-up bags, water bowl, and treats are, ready for our walk.

I do wish there were a storage bag for this, but that's a VERY small complaint. We're very satisfied with this item.

We ordered this a month or so ago[...] Out of the box and into the backseat of our Camry in 3-4 minutes. It was a breese to put in!It's very durable and cleans up wonderfully. We have a 80lb Goldendoodle who loves mud and puddles and but this seat stands up to everything Magoo brings into the car! I love the storage pockets. I have a brand new car with leather interior, but I like to take my 85lb dog with me wherever I go, whenever I can, so I was in need of a good car seat cover. This hammock-style seat cover makes it easier for my dog to jump in the car, and it gives her a little more support while the car is in motion (since it hooks to the front and back seats covering the foot space where she could potentially fall)- I can tell she feels more comfortable and has more balance when she's not laying down. The cover stays in place and protects the car nicely just as it proclaims. It even looks nice...and it's very easy to hook up and remove. My only complaint is that the seat belt holes let some hair/dirt escape onto the car seat.

This is a great product. I recently moved from Wisconsin to New York and this was my dog's first LOOOONG car trip. It kept my car clean. Having read other reviews on this seat cover, I had a towel underneath the slits meant for the seat belts. Dirt & hair seems to go through rather easily if you are not aware of the problem. BTW, my dog is a large mixed breed tipping the scales at 115 lbs. This kept him safely in the back seat.

Having just gotten a new car and a new dog, I was anxious to keep the car clean and not have the dog be tossed around and constantly get down in the well behind the drivers seat. This product lived up to all its billing. It is easy to install and uninstall. It kept the drool, the dog hair and the dust off our upholstery. The pockets keep leash and poop bags at the ready for rest stops. Best of all, our 110 lb. Great Pyrenees felt completely secure during a long road trip - Tucson, AZ to Grand Junction, CO. I am very satisfied with this product. When my wife and I purchased a new car, we quit taking the dogs with us as much. They had to ride in the truck or stay home. After seeing this product I went to the local Pet Supply Stores to purchase one, none of them carried any. I purchased one here, and have loved it. The dogs like it better than riding just in the back seat, as it makes them feel safer. They will lay down back there now, which they would not do before. It also discourages them from going to the front seat. Though it does not stop them completely, it makes training much easier. The only down side is as mentioned in other reviews, it leaves a several inch gap on either side near the door. This is really no problem though, considering the fact that receives minimal usage, and it is a small easy to clean area.

This hammock was just what I wanted. I still use a crate for my pup which fits nicely within the hammock. My older dog does beautifully on the other side. I feel they are much safer should I have to make a sudden stop.

The design is very effective. My '09 Camry back seat is quite deep and I find that I don't use the tubes that tuck the hammock in the crack of the seat. It works just fine without doing this.

I put a sheet on the bottom and our 10 yr old Airedale just loves the comfort and coziness. Just shake it out and fold it up--perfect way to keep the dog comfortable and the interior clean.

We used the product for a four hour car ride with our golden retriever, Lucy. It was Lucy's first long car ride and she had the typical drooling issue. The hammock was easy to put in place and easy to clean. Now everytime Lucy sees the hammock come out she is thrilled because she knows she is going in the car.

The hammock does a great job of protecting the seats, and it blends nicely with my interior. It's easy to install and remove when you want to clean it or have a person sit in the back seat. Some hair and debris does get past the seat belt slits, but it's definitly worth it.

Hangs from headrests. Pretty easy to connect and disconnect if humans need to use backseat. Hair builds up underneath, so be prepared to wipe clean first. I use this for my 16 year old black lab who is 90lbs. He hasn't been able to rip it. All in all its a good design. My only complaint is that it exposes a couple inches of seat on either end, so they are still vulnerable to claw damage. If it was six inches longer, it would be perfect.

The hammock secures pretty well on the head set of the front seats and the back seats....but it's a little short on the sides....so if you have a curious pet like I do, it will start pulling it on the sides....beside this problem...the product is pretty good, easy to clean and durable.

It worked well for a long trip from Nebraska to Arizona. We did not have the room for a kennel to transport my Brittany, plus he is used to riding in the back. With his bed on the hammock he was content.Wish it came with a storage pouch.

My dog is a one and a half year old Pitbull terrier/Jack Russel. Therefore, she is strong (Pitbull trait) and hyper (Jack Russell trait). She has long strong nails that dig into the leather seats on my convertible car. This product has helped me b/c it stops her nails from possibly damaging the leather. Also, she likes to lie down on my arm rest, which is distracting. This hammock style protector stops her from doing that.

My only complaint is that she sheds a lot and the protector doesn't stop her hair from getting on the rear side speakers. Also, i find that it isnt easy to clean my dogs short hair off of it. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.

After purchasing my new truck with nice leather seats, I wanted to protect them from my dog, Brink, who just happens to look like the identical twin to the dog in the ad. Brink goes to work with me everyday in all kinds of Midwest weather. Therefore he is often a big, wet hairy mess. This cover is wonderful because it stays in place, does a good job containing the dog hair and blends in well with the interior of the vehicle. It is easy to remove and then replace, folding nicely for storage. As we are in the middle of winter, I have not really taken the time to give it a thorough cleaning, but if it washes up as well as its other features, it will be great. It does shake out well and hair does seem to brush off fairly easily. I would highly recommend this cover to those who want to keep their vehicle as nice as possible, but yet wants to take their pets with them.
