This is my Great Dane, Ronan's bed. Before he was using a large cushion that was slightly thin. Going into his room for bed was a hassle. Now with this bed he goes right in and lies down even when its not bed time. If we are in his room and I tell him to sit, he will walk over to the bed first then sit on top of the bed because it's more comfortable on his growing legs. Great product. I'll buy another one when this one wears out.

As soon as I took this bed out of the shipping box, the dogs were jumping on it. I had recently already purchased another orthopedic dog bed (the 8" thick with the headrest) and my dogs loved it, so when I needed to buy another dog bed, I bought this one. I like that it's very thick because both dogs are large (100 lbs and 140 lbs) and the mattress does not sink to the floor like the ones from local retail stores. It's also a large size so the dogs can stretch out comfortably. My only "wishlist" would be that they add a handle on the side so that it's easier to move.

I have a 100lb American Bulldog and got this bed, along with an extra cover, 3 years ago. He LOVES this bed. All his prior ones would flatten out within the first month bc of his size, but this one has held up. After three years, it has started to sink a little bit in the middle of the bed, and both zippers have had to be replaced on the covers, but that was after three full years of constant use. I will probably need to replace the bed in another year or so, but I will be purchasing the same one. Well worth the money. Only negative is that it is really too big to store or bring for overnights at grandma's. :)

I was looking for a bed that my 70lb. Goldendoodle could sleep on without sinking to the floor. This bed did the trick. It is thick. It is warm,too. If your dog gets hot easily, this may not be the best choice. He stays on it until he gets too hot. It is large enough and comfortable enough for me to lay with him.

I did so much research on dog beds for large breed dogs and most of what I found had horrible reviews. This bed however, was top rated and you can get it monogrammed. So far so good, my dog (great dane) LOVES this bed....

This bed is the, bomb, its really as good as they say. My dogs are old, 14 and 15, large size dogs. The female had hip problems, so I easly added the heating pad inside the cover. She uses it all day, the other dog, well, he doesn't need it yet, but he lays on it too. My babies are lovin it...

My two labs each have their own joint problems. Katie (8 years) started moving much slower, refused to jump on her favorite bed and was much more careful when moving around. I purchased the beds based on other customers' reviews and hoped for the best. Within a week of sleeping on it Katie had alot more energy in the morning, loved her walks, and got back to jumping up on her favorite bed. The beds are thick and dense which hold up to the weight of my dogs. Overall a great purchase. I was hesitant about the price initially but the results negate the pricing overwhelmingly.

I chose this bed because of reviews from other Lab owners. Well, my two fell in love with their beds immediately. The biggest plus was that, as large dogs (90 lbs and 65 lbs), the orthopedic beds held up to their weight; they didn't sink to the ground as with every other bed. But, they are light enough to move around easily. Just know that it takes a month or so to receive because they are "making them to order(?)", but the beds are well worth the wait. One negative I read a few times was the covers coming apart after cleaning. To keep from running into this possibility, we use a bed sheet on it. This works great. I highly recommend this bed to owners with large breed dogs (don't wait until they are geriatric like I did).

I have a 155 pound Great Dane that needs a supportive bed to protect his large bones. He loves his orthopedic foam beds and has put them to the test! I have purchased both the 4 1/2 inch and the 8 inch thick beds in the extra large size, which is perfect. The beds are comfortable and offer excellent support. They are still as thick as the day we unpacked them and show no sign of compression. The covers are quality, wash beautifully, and are easy to take off and put back on. These beds are truly a value in terms of quality, longevity and performance. I do wish that they offered a waterproof liner to cover and protect the foam under the regular cover.

MacGregor is a picky Corgi with a dislike for change. When I took out his old bed and put down the orthopedic hypersoft bed - he walked over it a couple of times and then laid down on it and did not want to get up! He sleeps much better and is not stiff when he gets up in the morning.

Initially the foam really stunk so I had to leave it ouside for about 2 weeks. [...] discovered the glue in between the 2 foam pieces had not been allowed to dry enough before the cover was installed and the bed shipped. Leaving the foam out in the sun took care of the problem.

I have a large (110 lb) golden lab. He suffered a shoulder injury, so I was looking for a firm, yet, comfortable bed for him. It wasn't easy finding one that would fit his size. When I received the bed, he took to it right away. He absolutely loves it! It seems to give him the support he needs with the added benefit of comfort. I've only had the bed for a few months, so I can't say how long-lasting it is, but my guess is that it will last for quite a while due to the sturdy desgin. The only negative, which really isn't that bad, is that my dog kicks his legs in his sleep, and I end up with little pieces of fleece all over the floor. One way around it is to put a sheet over the bed; in the summer time, the sheet keeps him cool, and it protects the bed from getting dirty. It would be nice to find a sheet especially made for the bed....

This is actually the second dog bed like this I've purchased from Oh My Dog and I love it. They don't flatten like a pancake when the dogs (two rescues, both about 75 lbs) lay on it and it cushions their joints and gives great support. In addition, it comes in lovely colors that match modern decor and washing it is super easy.

We bought this product for our new lovable pound dog "PORTER" half newfoundland and lab to put in our bedfooom for him to sleep on. It is very well made and so comfortable that I like to lay on it with him.

I tortured myself over the purchase of this dog bed because my girls (2 75-pounders) are professional relaxers and are not afraid to snub something if it's not up to their specifications.
But we all love the bed. It's very thick and does not sink to the floor when they lay on it as I had feared. It doesn't even sink when I lay on it with them. The sherpa top is very comfortable and they love to sprawl out on it. Most importantly I really feel it's giving them gentle support for their bodies - and the bonus is that it's a really nice looking bed that blends in with our decor.
I'd buy it again and again, but I don't think I'll have to worry about that anytime soon - this one is going to last us a long, long time.

I like it (looks nice, easy to keep clean) but the dog does not like it at all. It is not very soft and may be better for a heavier dog (my dog is about 48 lbs and does not seem to "squash" the bed enough for it to be comfy.) I have put a blanket on it and he will sleep on it with a long-suffering look on his face.

I ordered it for my Great Dane and it has helped her immensely. She was always trying to curl up on the sofa because she was so uncomfortable laying on the ground. I ordered this and she hasn't gotten up on the couch since, and is ALWAYS laying on it!

This is the second Orthopedic bed I ordered. The first one is about 5 years old, and except for the usual wear and tear, it is still in great shape. It does not flatten out after use like most of the other brands. So while it may be a bit pricier to purchase, in the long run you will save money since you won't have to replace it for a long time. I also purchased the ones with the built in pillow for the bedroom, and our dogs LOVE them. It keeps them off the bed and furniture.

We have a 100 lb old Shepherd who could not get comfortable. Now he only sleeps here. We bought 2 more for our other dogs. Our other two guys now sleep more on their beds than ours. This is good!

My only regret is that I didn't get this bed for my 10-year-old shepherd sooner. He just LOVES his bed and none of us thought he would take to it. I find that after a day of running and playing and a good night sleep on his bed he is less stiff the next morning.

My 11-year old German Shepherd uses this bed. This is a good bed for dogs with orthopedic issues. It's thick, sturdy and comfortable. When the bed arrived, the egg crate foam insert had a smell that I did not like but has not been a problem for my dog. The cover comes off and on fairly easily for washing. It's a snug fit. I wished it had a liner for the insert to keep it cleaner.

My dog loves his bed. He is a larger older dog with some arthuritus. I could not find a bed of this quality locally. The density, and quality, of the foam is perfect for my dog to get up and down from the bed. I bought a bed locally and my dog did not use it because it was to high and puffy and he did not bother to lay on it at all. I research dog beds on line and this bed seemed like a winner. Construction is great and the memory foam is wonderful. This bed was perfect and worth the money. A great bed that I think any dog would enjoy.

The day I ordered the bed Ghita had major abdominal surgery, she developed GDV. This was the scariest and worst experience I've ever had! She also has arthritis in her hips, so this bed is awesome.

The orthopedic bed was a terrific purchase, I just wish it would have been finished sooner because of the surgery she had, but then again it may have been too high for her at the time.

I can't compare this product to others, becuase this is one that my dog loves, the other store bought beds she doesn't like to sleep on. it was really funny because she laid on the bed the minute I took it out of the box. I didn't expect the bed to be so large and cushy, but it was money well spent.
