Care and Use

The velvet microfiber cover can be machine washed. The foam can be soaked in water with a mild cleaner and line dried, but should not go in the washer or dryer.

Description

This bed allows an easy step in or out of hospital-grade base foam that offers strong support for joints. There’s no need for your dog to have to step up, which helps seniors, recuperating dogs, and those with arthritis or orthopedic issues. The unique design – a semi-circle with a tall bolster that slopes downward to side three quarters of the bed – provides a feeling of security. The cushion on which the dog sleeps is reversible; one side is the velvety microfiber that matches the rest of the bed, and the other is wonderfully plush, high end, tufted Berber fleece.

Should you place the bed next to a wall, the bolster will prevent the natural oils in your dog’s coat from getting on the wall.

Unlike memory foam, the peak and valley foam doesn’t get too hot for dogs. Dogs always need to get out of the memory foam bed for a bit because they get too warm, but the hospital grade foam doesn’t get as hot as memory foam does, allowing your dog to sleep in longer stretches.
